2024 Durban July Entries
Green With Envy was as short as 3.0 to win this year's Durban July. Dean Kannemeyer's star three-year-old will be looking to land a five-timer when he returns to Greyville in July, having registered back-to-back Grade One wins in the WSB Guineas and the Daily News 2000 this month.
Last year's runner-up, See It Again slipped down the market after a couple of high-profile defeats. Mike Robert's star briefly joined Green With Envy at the head of the market after a staying-on third behind Dave The King in the recent Gold Challenge, but the top-weight has drifted a point in the betting since our Tuesday update.
Future Swing edged out Oriental Charm to land the WSB 1900 at Greyville last month. Oriental Charm boosted that form by winning the Dolphin's Cup Trial next time out and remains solid in the market. Future Swing did shorten into 6.25, but has drifted out to 8.33 over the past 24 hours.

Defending champion, Winchester Mansion has been the main market mover over the past 24 hours. Despite showing little form in his three runs since winning last year's Durban July, Brett Crawford's gelding has been cut from 16.67 into 12.5 after a sustained wave of support.
Nathan Kotzen will be represented by Royal Victory, who beat Winchester Mansion in the Champions Challenge, having already landed the Summer Cup this season. Three-year-old Flag Man shot up the Durban July betting after losing out to Green With Envy by a short-head in the Daily News, but has drifted a touch in recent days.

British jockey, Danny Muscutt will reprise his Cape Town Met-winning partnership with Double Superlative. Regular Group One runners Without Question, Cousin Casey, Aragosta and Future Pearl also feature in the field. Purple Pitcher and Barbaresco bolster the three-year-old contingent.
