Got The Greenlight finished second in last year's race as a three-year-old, and Eric Sands' star currently tops the betting for this year's renewal after victories in the Chestnut Stakes and the Premier Champions Challenge.
Rainbow Bridge has risen to second in the betting, after winning the Sun Met, the Drill Hall and the Gold Challenge. Cape Derby and SA Guineas winner Linebacker follows next, with fellow three-year-old Rascallion - who finished second to Linebacker in the recent Daily News 2000 - sitting fourth in the market.
Defending champion Belgarion, who hasn't won since scoring in last year's Durban July, can be found at a single-figure price. As can two-time VDJ champion Do It Again, who will be ridden by Richie Fourie.
Kommetdieding is fancied to go well by many, and he'll be ridden by Gareth Lerena. Lyle Hewitson will ride Cirillo for Sean Tarry, while Warren Kennedy gets the leg up on four-year-old filly, She's A Keeper.
S’manga Khumalo takes the ride on Belgarion, with Tyrone Zackey partnering Johnny Hero. Candice Bass-Robinson will be represented by Sovereign Spirit, with Running Brave, Shah Akhbar and Nexus also set to take their chance.

They say a wide draw is a big negative in the Durban July, but that didn't stop Belgarion winning 12 months ago after he came out of gate 17. The defending champion has been handed a kinder draw this time around and will come out of stall eleven.
Rainbow Bridge has been handed what could be quite a tricky draw in stall one, with Kommetdieding set to come out of the widest gate of all, stall 18.
Linebacker's supporters will have been pleased to see the leading fancy drawn into stall seven, with favourite Got The Greenlight drawn in 14. Rascallion will come out of gate six, with Cirillo and Do It Again drawn in stalls nine and 16 respectively.
